What GFE really means (and what it doesn’t)
Girlfriend experience (GFE) isn’t a list of anything. It’s a kiss hello, a hand on your knee under the table, and neither of us looking at a watch.
GFE stands for girlfriend experience, and it’s the most misread set of initials in my messages. Some men assume it’s code for a list. Others worry I’ll turn up pretending we’ve been together for three years and ask why they never ring their mother. Neither is quite it, so here’s what GFE means with me, and what it doesn’t.
What does GFE mean?
The short answer: a booking that feels like a date with someone who’s properly into you, because for those hours I am. Not a performance of affection but the real thing, the easy kind that turns up when two adults like each other and have nowhere else to be.
The longer answer is that GFE is chemistry, not choreography. It’s the difference between a woman who arrives and a woman who’s pleased to see you. You can feel it inside a minute, and so can I.
What the girlfriend experience looks like with me
It starts at the door. I kiss you hello, properly, not a polite peck like a cousin at a christening. Then the coat comes off and I ask how your day was, and I actually want to know: the meeting that overran, the flight that didn’t, why you’re in London this week.
We talk. I’m nosy, I laugh easily and I’ll tell you about myself too, within reason. If we go out, I flirt in public: a hand on your knee under the table in Chelsea, my fork stealing the corner of your pudding, a look across the table that tells the couple next to us exactly what sort of evening this is. In the cab home my head is on your shoulder and my fingers are somewhere fingers shouldn’t really be in a cab.
And nobody counts minutes. My phone stays in my bag and I don’t glance at a watch. I keep track of the time so that you don’t have to, and when we’re close to the end I tell you gently, not with an alarm.
Back in your room, the chemistry from dinner doesn’t switch off because the door has closed. If anything it gets louder. You find the zip down my back; I find out whether you kiss as well lying down as you did standing up.
Cut to: two glasses on the bedside table, both still half full.
What GFE isn’t
It isn’t a menu. I don’t publish one and I won’t read one out by text, so please don’t send me a list on WhatsApp and ask me to tick it. The answer will be a kind version of no, and it’ll be the least romantic message you send all week.
It isn’t a script. I won’t recite lines about how much I’ve missed you since Tuesday. If I say something nice about you, it’s because I noticed it.
And it isn’t a guarantee. What you pay for is my time and my company: an hour, two, a dinner, a whole night of my full attention. Anything beyond that is a choice between two adults, made in the moment, the way it is on any good date. That isn’t small print. It’s the whole reason it feels real.
How a GFE booking works in London
Message me on WhatsApp or by text, or call +44 7761 537257, with the day, the time, how long and whether it’s incall or outcall. A first name is plenty, and please don’t withhold your number. For a date, give me 24 hours’ notice; I’m worth planning for. Not sure whether you want a date or an hour on my table? I wrote about erotic massage vs escort for exactly that question.
Incall is my private flat in Earl’s Court, SW5, a couple of minutes’ walk from the station. I text you the address an hour ahead. Fresh linen, a hot shower and not another soul in the flat.
Outcall means your home or hotel anywhere in West and Central London: Kensington, Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Notting Hill, Marylebone, Mayfair. Your hotel and room number belong in our chat as plain words, never a link.
Two hours is where GFE really settles in: £400 at mine, £450 at yours, or £200 and £250 for a single hour, plus my cab fare on an outcall. There’s no deposit: it’s all paid at the start, cash or transfer, and then we never mention it again. Every escort and GFE rate is on my services page. If two hours sounds tight, a dinner date gives us three or four, and an overnight gives us breakfast.
How to be good company back
GFE goes both ways, and my best evenings are with men who meet me halfway. Shower before I arrive. Put your phone face down. Ask me something and listen to the answer. Be nice to the waiter; I notice, and so does everyone else at the table.
If you’re nervous, say so. It’s charming, and I’ll have it gone in about four minutes. Just don’t treat the evening like a gym membership you need to get your money’s worth from. The clock-watchers are the only men who never quite get the girlfriend experience, because they’re too busy timing it.
Treat it like a date, and it will be one.
